Adobe InDesign is the industry standard for page layout and print designs. This introductory course will start at the very beginning with how to set-up a new document, navigating the workspace, and using InDesign tools. From there, we will work on simple page layouts—including adding images and typography—to saving PDF files and exporting for web.

Week 1 — April 8 — InDesign Basics, part I
Week 2 — April 15 — InDesign Basics, part II

Week 3 — April 29 — Typography
Week 4 — May 6 — Creating an advertisement/flier and business card

Week 5 — May 20 — Creating multi-page documents and PDFs
Each workshop is just $30 or sign up for the whole course and save 10%!
Participants will be required to bring their own laptop with Adobe InDesign already installed. Instructor will be using the latest version of InDesign CC. There are limited outlets in the gallery, so please show up with your laptop charged and ready to go! Each workshop will be 2 hours of demo/lecture with a half hour at the end for individual questions and troubleshooting.
